I'm a middle aged, retired Tech SGT (Royal Australian Air Force) with 21 years service. My mustering in the RAAF was as an ATECH1 (aircraft Technician - Airframes & Engines), and as a Trade supervisor and Tech Trades Instructor and Course Facilitator for Aircraft Mechanical Trades.
I also volunteered as an EORA (Explosive Ordinance Reconaisance Agent), where I had the envious (sic) job of detecting and disposing of IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices).
I served in the Sinai with the Multinational Force & Observers (1983)as an LAC (Leading Aircraftman), and in Rwanda during the national uprising, as a member of the International Peace Keeping forces (1994) as a newly promoted SGT (Sergeant).
My RAAF career led me to work on several types of Military Aircraft, most of which are now also retired. These included, Winjeel Airtrainer, CT4A Airtrainer, Mirage IIIO & IIID Fighter/Interceptor, Macchi MB326H Airtrainer & Lead-in Fighter, Bell UH1B Iroquois Helicopter, Squirrel Helicopter, Pilatus PC9 Airtrainer & Forward Air Control Aircraft, FA/18A Hornet Fighter/Attack Aircraft, and the ever faithful and classic C47B Dakota (Gooney Bird).
I ride a Harley Davidson, Heritage Softail, and am a member of the LONGRIDERS Christian Motorcycle Club (CMC) of Australia (LONGRIDERS CMC AUSTRALIA)
I'm an active member of the SeaShepherd Conservation Group, and am concerned about our environment and wildlife, particularly our ocean wildlife.
I'm madly in love with my Lady, and am the proud parent of 3 boys and a girl, and have 4 great grandkids.
I am extremely proud of my God, My Country, and my family, and I am seriously patriotic to my country, Australia, the USA and our Allies.
I madly support our troops and make a point of praying for them each day, before doing anything else.
I take no prisoners, and not afraid of speaking out when I have to, I will defend my beliefs and freedom to the bitter end , and will gladly help anyone else do the same.
Apart from all that, I think I'm pretty normal ???
